I have spent over a decade in the military, approximately 15 years to date, and all that time has been in the combat arms, specifically Armoured Cavalry, with the last 5 years serving as a military instructor.
My job allows me to test tactical gear in gruelling scenarios, from 20+ km rucks and tactical helicopter inserts to field training in desert and -50 degree Celsius Arctic conditions, to bring you reliable recommendations.
As an instructor, I train recruits in weapons and the principles of marksmanship on firearms such as the C7/C8 rifles, C22 aka SIG P320 handguns, as well as the C9/C6 machine guns, Carl G anti-tank gun.
I also instruct soldiers in military survival, day and night reconnaissance with a map and compass, as well as GPS. I am qualified to crew LAVs and operate 25mm cannons and 40mm grenade launchers.
All this gives me real-world expertise to evaluate gear for tactical pros and enthusiasts alike.
If there is one thing I have learned from using military gear to buying my own gear. Top-tier tactical gear is a must! When you settle for less, you may pay the highest price.

At the same time, I work hard to provide for and take care of my family. I have a wife and four kids who all depend on me to support them.
